We’re heading to Virgin River this summer!

Netflix announced that the fourth season of the romance drama will arrive on Wednesday, July 20.

The total episode count will be 12.

The season’s official synopsis reads: “Despite not knowing whether her baby belongs to her deceased husband, Mark, or Jack, Mel begins Season 4 with a sense of optimism. For years she yearned to be a mother and her dream is one step closer to reality. While Jack is supportive and excited, the question of paternity continues to gnaw at him. Complicating matters is the arrival of a handsome new doctor, who’s in the market to start a family of his own.”

While fans might be hoping that Mel’s (Alexandra Breckenridge) is carrying Jack’s baby, there’s a lot of questions surrounding her pregnancy, even if it is an exciting one.

And there’s also an exciting update concerning Doc and Hope!

The season 3 cliffhanger revealed that Doc’s better-half was in a car accident, however, a first-look photo reveals that she’s alive albeit suffering “lingering psychological effects of her brain injury” that will have “profound consequences for both her and Doc.”

As for Brie, she’s fully in Brady’s corner as she aims to prove that he’s innocent and finds herself “unexpectedly finds herself in a closer relationship with Mike and one step closer to Calvin’s violent criminal web.”

Don’t worry, even Preacher is finding some kind of happiness by forging a new “romantic connection” with Julia (Lucia Walters), though, surely, there will be some update on Paige and Christopher.

And even Lizzie and Ricky are inching closer and closer together, the pictures from what looks like Hope and Doc’s wedding reveal.
