Leslie Bibb is going back to college — well, to the sorority house, anyway.
The “White Lotus” alum will star in “The Rush Whisperer,” a new comedy in the works at HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Bibb will also executive-produce the series, which is set in “the cutthroat world of sorority recruitment” and is based on the New York Magazine article “How Much Would You Pay for Friendship? Private Rush Coaches are Selling Teens the Sorority Dream.”
Kelly Hutchinson, who wrote for Bibb’s canceled Apple TV series “Palm Royale,” will co-write the new series, along with Grace Parra Janney (“Solar Opposites”).
Bibb co-starred with Carrie Coon and Michelle Monaghan as vacationer Kate in Season 3 of the Emmy-winning dramedy “The White Lotus,” which aired last year on HBO. She also earned an Emmy nomination this year for her guest role as Monica on the final season of HBO Max’s “Hacks.” Her other TV credits include “American Housewife” and “Popular.”

- Hulu’s dramedy pilot “Chicks,” starring Ellen Pompeo and Jodie Whittaker, has added three to its cast, Deadline reports: Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire”), Chazz Palminteri (“Bullets Over Broadway”), and Kathleen Chalfant (“The Affair”).
- Li Jun Li (“Sinners,” “Spider-Noir”) will star in the Hulu thriller “Victoria,” according to Deadline. She’ll play Maxine Tao, “a brilliant con artist who finds herself in a dark web of power, luxury, and the crosshairs of a seductive killer who knows her secrets,” per the official description.
- Prime Video’s NASA drama “The Challenger,” starring Kristen Stewart, has added five to its cast as series regulars, per Deadline: Danny Huston (“Yellowstone”), Sofia Black D’Elia (“The Mick”), Paul Sparks (“Physical”), Boris McGiver (“Evil”), and Shea Whigham (“Death by Lightning”).
