Sweet Magnolias just dropped the first look at the upcoming fifth season, with the trio of besties swapping Serenity for NYC!
“With wedding bells on the horizon, the Magnolias chase a shared dream, explore the world beyond Serenity, and lift each other up amid a summer of change,” the nearly 2-minute-long trailer teases.
Helen is gearing up to get married, as she shops for a dress, questioning, “I’ve waited a long time, could the dream be in my grasp?” Will something stand in the way again?
Maddie is balancing a new career, living far away from the people she loves and the place she calls home, while trouble seems to be on the horizon for Dana Sue and Ronnie, who apparently “keeps mixing business and family” to the point where something’s gotta give.
Maddie delivers a key piece of advice, however: “Trust the way forward, it’s no use going back to yesterday,” which is a motto we could all probably apply in our daily lives.
And at the end of the day, the most important thing is embracing the change, supported by friends and family.
We can’t wait to pour it out with our Sweet Magnolias.
