The Summer I Turned Pretty has officially begun filming the highly-anticipated movie.
And while fans are extremely excited to head back to Cousins Beach to reunite with Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah, the film’s production is issuing an urgent plea.
Taking to the series’ official Instagram account, a video, shot from above, revealed “Privacy Please,” written in the sand.
The caption elaborated a bit more, with the warning, “We love the excitement, but sharing locations and visiting set disrupts filming and creates real safety concerns for our cast and crew.”
It continued, “We’re working hard to create a protected bubble to make the best movie possible. Please help us protect the magic of Cousins until it’s ready to be shared. 
”

Of course, not only are there safety concerns, but fans showing up at all the spots and taking videos and leaking them online leads to spoilers ahead of the film’s release.
And why would anyone want to spoil this exciting moment?
Understandably, the production is getting a lot of attention as The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 had 70 million viewers across the first 70 days, per Amazon.
Fans were in agreement in the comments, writing, “Let’s just wait and appreciate the process 
” and “The fact that they have to ask for this is…insane? Let the people do their jobs! They want to make the movie just as badly as we want to see it!”
With production in full swing, there is not a set release date just yet, but many fans are hoping for the holidays, considering Belly and Conrad’s affinity for Christmas.
Either way, we can’t wait to see what the next chapter of the Fischer family brings—when it’s officially ready for us to see it.
