When Will ‘The Resident’ Return After the Time Jump?

Reviews

Supergirl will be taking her final flight soon.

After six incredible seasons warding off the bad guys and villains from National City (we’re looking at you, Lex Luthor), the series, based on the DC Comics, will air a 2-hour series finale, The CW announced.

The sixth season kicked off on March 30, 2021 with 20 total episodes.

The final run found Supergirl sent to the Phantom Zone, where she found her father and a fifth-dimensional imp named Nyxly, who followed her back to National City when Kara’s Super Friends came to save her.

Now, Nyxly has been causing chaos in town as she searches for the Allstone totems that will allow her to totally control reality.

It really puts Supergirl and her friends to the test as they fight for humanity and a world that they believe in.

So, when is the ultimate showdown set to happen?

The supersized 2-hour event will air Tuesday, November 9.

Will Supergirl defeat Nyxyly? Will any other notable villains come back to try their hand at world domination one last time?

Will Supergirl hang up her cape and assume a normal life possibly with William? After all, her father did encourage her to embrace being human sometimes, and she has been doubting herself as of late.

And will any other former cast members return for the fun? It would be awesome to see Mehcad Brooks reprise his role as Jimmy Olsen one last time.

Plus, we’ll always hope for another Calista Flockhart appearance as Cat Grant!

We’ll see you November 9, Cravers! In the meantime, you can check out all of our Supergirl reviews HERE
