Big Brother 28: The Double Eviction Needs a Yash Betrayal

- Advertisment -

Yes, you’ve read that right. The upcoming Big Brother Season 28 double eviction needs an epic blindside.

Anything can happen during this Thursday’s double eviction.

Many frontrunners and strong houseguests have met their end during this twist. We need it for the drama, but more importantly, it’s a hard Big Brother lesson.

One of the most surprising twists this summer has been the BB Bribe.

A simple $5,000 power from the BB Time Capsule has morphed into a devastating hold. On paper, the BB Bribe should only come into play for a week or two, depending on the deal.

No one could’ve expected or planned how this one power would break the summer.

Case in point: Yash accepting $5,000 to protect the reality TV icons!

His simple promise not to nominate Dee, Rick Devens, or Angela during his next Head of Household (HOH) has become a legal warning. As the weeks have gone by, that protection has become more dangerous than ever.

We’re down to the Final 7 of Big Brother Season 28, and he finally got the chance to avoid nominating them. The deal is complete, but the damage is already done.

How Powerful Was the Deal?

When Yash accepted the offer during Dee’s HOH, the power grew the longer he stayed in the game.

He hasn’t won HOH since, so he’s never had a chance to pay his end. As players like Mallory and Lala were sent packing, chances to finish the deal kept dwindling.

We could’ve seen a world where Yash couldn’t have nominated a reality TV icon at the Final 4.

Even if he wanted to take it back, the deal was sealed. And he couldn’t run away from the truth; regardless of how much he’d lie, Dee couldn’t lie about her power.

This is a stark reminder to always read the fine print and word any agreements accurately.

The Karma Is Coming.

During Barrett’s HOH reign, the truth about the deal was revealed. From that moment on, Yash’s game slowly crumbled under the weight of the endgame.

He made a bad move by evicting Angela over Dee, and he’s since backed away from his public stance that all the icons should be evicted.

That’s terrible from a jury management standpoint!

Yash has been one of the loudest voices about evicting the icons. For him to keep them in, let alone keep a powerful player like Dee over Angela, that will rub players like Melody, Barrett, and Lala the wrong way.

Everyone knows Drew is the Icons’ puppet, but no one expected Yash to flip.

But these are all the pieces heading into the double eviction.

The real warning sign is that Dee and Devens have been talking about targeting Yash next. Not later, but right away at the double eviction.

Yash is the current HOH; he can’t compete to save himself. He’ll only have the Power of Veto (POV) since the BB Blockbuster ends this week.

If that happens, he’ll have fallen into a trap he can’t save himself from.

Only Taylor may choose to save him. Not Dee, Devens, Drew, Barrett, or Melody.

A Hard Big Brother Lesson.

A Yash betrayal and blindside would be a sobering lesson for future Big Brother houseguests. And a tough reminder for the Big Brother Season 28 players.

Through the alliances, production manipulation, and poor decisions, three powerful controlling icons made it far.

And in many instances, it has come back to bite the players!

Kamu shouldn’t have listened to the Icons and turned on Chuk and Haley. Now he’s gone.

Mallory shouldn’t have thrown the HOH the week she got evicted. Drew shouldn’t keep throwing his entire game away to the Icons.

And of course, Yash shouldn’t have accepted the BB Bribe.

Unsurprisingly, Dee and Devens are plotting the next betrayal. They’ve been evicting their allies all season–Yash is next.

A Yash double eviction isn’t at the top of my personal list (a Dee or Devens takedown would be so glorious). However, it’s a satisfying conclusion to where his Big Brother journey has taken him.

He took the deal, told the lies, and repositioned the game to benefit the reality TV icons. Both directly and indirectly.

He was on a fast track to an easy win on Finale Night. A double eviction blindside would be a car wreck that we couldn’t look away from; a disaster he could’ve easily avoided.

But that’s the game of Big Brother. The game has a way of completing the story.
