Big Brother Spoilers: Veto Meeting Locks In Week 1’s Final Nominations — Who’s in Trouble?

- Advertisment -

It’s been an interesting first week of Big Brother Season 28.

The long-running reality TV juggernaut brought in 14 new houseguests in a house with three reality TV legends.

We’ve already gotten a showmance and some wild nominations, and we’re now looking ahead to the rest of the week.

Dee Valladares won the crucial first Head of Household of the season and wasted no time in setting her noms, sending Mallory, Taylor, and Yash to the block.

The initial target was Mallory, particularly because of the way she spiraled after being put on the block.

With Dee’s plan seemingly set in motion, it backfired spectacularly on Saturday when Mallory won the Power of Veto.

The good news for viewers is that Big Brother Season 28 is off to an unpredictable start, and Dee will have to name a fourth nominee for the week.

Putting almost a quarter of the house up on the block during your HOH reign isn’t the best measure of success, but Dee knows how to pivot.

She won Survivor for a reason — She’s strategic and is a competition threat.

Is Dee Making a Mistake?

When Dee made her nominations on Friday, she already had a replacement nominee in mind.

Melody was that person, but conversations have shifted things considerably over the last few days.

Dee seems ready to send Ashley to the block because she sees Ashley as an easy target who won’t cause too much blowback for her game.

Given that it’s still the first week, we really don’t know how Ashley would take being the renom.

From the feeds alone, Ashley is bubbly and seems to be getting along with most of her fellow houseguests.

Does that mean she could rally enough votes to stay? I think so.

But we also need to remember that there’s the Big Brother Blockbuster to be played.

Right now, Yash seems like an easy target to send home, too, and with so many things that could change between now and Thursday, I’m not confident about which of them will go home.

Big Brother Week 1’s Final Nominations Are Set

The other nominee is Taylor, who has been in the midst of a lot of conversations on the live feeds.

It’s hard to imagine her going home this week, but, again, a lot can change between now and Thursday.

The Big Brother Live feeds went dark on Monday afternoon, and when they returned:

Mallory had removed herself from the block.

Dee nominated Ashley in her place.

What’s your take on the nominees? Do you think Dee made the best choice for her game, or did she make a grave mistake?

What are your thoughts on who will be evicted on Thursday?

Let’s keep the conversation going — it’s the only way the good stuff survives.
