Big Brother Spoilers: Week 9 Head of Household Revealed and the Targets Are Already Set

- Advertisment -

They say to expect the unexpected, but Big Brother Season 28 is shaping up to be the most predictable season yet.

Did anyone else seriously think Devens wouldn’t win the Big Brother Blockbuster?

Producers are working overtime to keep the icons intact, and it’s making for one of the worst seasons to date.

After Devens won the competition on Thursday, the eviction vote was between Taylor and LaTrice.

As TV Fanatic previously reported, LaTrice was evicted by a 4-2 vote, leaving questions in the house when the feeds returned about who voted to evict Taylor.

But there was no time for them to debate because the next Head of Household competition got underway.

When the feeds returned on Friday morning, Barrett was wearing the key.

Yes, it seems that Barrett is starting to actually play the game now that we’re down to the final weeks.

Barrett, who has been closely aligned with Angela, Dee, Drew, and Devens all season long had admitted to Melody, Taylor, and Yash that he was voting out Devens if he was still on the block.

Big Brother Is About to Shift

He was vocal on the Big Brother Live Feed that he didn’t want this season to become known for the Survivor players.

The issue with Barrett is that he won’t tell the icons to their faces what he’s thinking.

Dee looked visibly drained in the kitchen after the competition, presumably because she knows she’ll hit the block on Barrett’s Head of Household.

If Yash won, he couldn’t put the icons up during his HOH, thanks to the bribe he accepted, so there’s a chance Barrett only took the win when another houseguest was close to it.

We’re into the final weeks of the Big Brother game, and Barrett probably won’t want to put up Melody, Taylor, or Yash, so that leaves the icons and Drew as his options.

It’s time to pick a side and there’s no point in putting one or two from each side up because he really doesn’t have to.

There is a chance that the icons get in Barrett’s ear and flip him again, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

I do believe that Drew will see the block this week, so there’s that.

Barrett was prepared to evict Drew a few weeks ago if he was on the block against Mallory, so there’s that.

It’s going to be an interesting day on the feeds before the nominations are revealed. The icons must know they’re in danger and will be throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks.

Barrett cheered his win with Drew in the storage room and said, “Would it be concerning to you if I didn’t know what I was going to do?”

At that moment, Devens walked in, and the three cheered. When Devens left, Barrett said he was keeping Melody safe, too.

Barrett then asked Melody who he should nominate, and she pointed to the icons but told him to do what’s best for his game.

The implication is that he’s going after the Reality TV veterans.

What are your thoughts on Barrett’s win? Do you think he’ll stick with targeting the icons?

Let’s keep the conversation going — it’s the only way the good stuff survives.
