Enough Already! Days of Our Lives Spoilers for the Week of 7-20-26 Continue Making Sarah Doubt Holly For No Reason

Does anyone like this story about Sarah accusing Holly of using drugs without any evidence whatsoever?

It can’t just be me, can it?

If you’re as annoyed by it as I am, I have bad news: Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-20-26 intensify the false accusation for entirely stupid reasons.

Days of Our Lives Always Defies Logic, But This Is Completely Ridiculous

I hate fake accusations of drug use, especially on Days of Our Lives. The soap always ignores the fact that drugs cause physiological changes.

Holly’s eyes are clear. She’s not exhibiting a single sign of withdrawal. Her thinking is only clouded by her anger that nobody believes that she’s sober.

But her blood work showed the presence of a drug that has not been produced in two years and is known to be tainted with arsenic, she overdosed on Adderall several years ago, and she gets angry and defensive, and Sarah thinks that’s ironclad proof of drug use despite all the evidence to the contrary.

That’s bad enough, but now it appears Tate is going to believe the loose pills in Holly’s overnight bag — which was not even packed by Holly — are proof she’s been lying this whole time and is using.

There is so much stupidity here that I don’t know where to begin.

If Tate HAS to jump to a wrong conclusion, it should be that Xander planted those drugs.

Xander doesn’t want to hurt Holly (at least not nowadays), but he wants to win Sarah back, and it makes sense to think he decided that providing proof that Sarah was right would help her somehow — plus, he brought the bag to the hospital.

I’m not saying I’d enjoy Xander being falsely accused either. Sarah shrieking at Xander has more than worn out its welcome.

But that would at least make sense. Tate believing that Holly put pills in a bag that she didn’t even have access to until five seconds ago doesn’t.

If anyone believes that, they must also believe that Holly has had pills in her hospital room and decided to transfer them to her bag when no one was looking. How could that possibly be?

This Story Makes Sarah Look Bad And Is Downright Abusive to Holly

Sarah has been feeling guilty about missing the signs of arsenic poisoning in Destiny and wondering whether she’s really any good at her job. I sympathized with her until now.

But Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-20-26 say that Sarah will decide to rescind her decision to discharge Holly because of the drugs in her bag.

Besides the fact that Sarah can’t keep going back and forth about discharging Holly like this (and her original idea to do it and then spy on her at home was beyond ridiculous), Holly is over 18.

That means she has the right to refuse consent to medical treatment, something Days of Our Lives conveniently ignored with the claim that Nicole gave consent for Holly to begin the anti-arsenic treatment.

She is not a danger to herself or others, though that could change if Sarah doesn’t stop trying to hold her against her will, and there is no medical reason to keep her in the hospital.

She should decide to leave against medical advice, refuse to return home to live with Sarah, and find someplace else to live, maybe in Ari’s room in the Pub. Sarah deserves nothing less for the way she is treating Holly.

The Only Person In This Scenario Who Seems to Have a Brain Is Johnny

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-20-26 have Johnny confronting EJ.

He refuses to buy EJ’s fake innocent act and directly accuses him of planting drugs on Holly.

What Johnny will do about it is anyone’s guess, since he so far has stopped short of exposing EJ as the criminal he is.

EJ’s actions are responsible for the deaths of at least two people and the near-death of Holly, plus all of this unnecessary drama and false accusations of drug use are all his fault.

Still, I would be very surprised if Johnny did more than tell EJ to make it right or risk losing his relationship with him, which will only encourage EJ to become more sophisticated in his cover-up.

Hopefully, Xander will also continue to suspect EJ — and get a little smarter about it. Half of the reason for this mess is that Xander and Sarah discussed their suspicions at the nurses’ station while EJ spied on them from about 2 meters away.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Continues to Vent, Gabi Betrays Philip and Xander, and Leo Realizes Gwen Is Missing

The Stephanie storyline is irritating me almost as much as the Holly one is, and Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-20-26 have her venting to Belle while Chad offers Alex support.

That’s all we need: Stephanie’s drama and paranoia about Joy creating a wedge between Chad and Belle. I’m not a huge fan of that couple, but I could do without Stephanie’s destructive spiral leaving others in its wake.

The Gabi spoilers are more interesting to me.

Gabi had promised to give part of her inheritance to Titan, but now she’s going to rescind. I wonder what the reason for that is.

Gabi seems to have suddenly become BFFs with Gwen, who is now missing thanks to that unnecessary kidnapping this past Friday, but that doesn’t seem like a good enough reason.

I wonder if she will trace the knockoff designs to Titan. That would make for an interesting twist!

Speaking of Gwen, Leo will realize she’s missing. Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-20-19 have him walk into her room and figure out she didn’t sleep there last night.

He’s supposed to go to Melinda, though I don’t know how she’ll help. Of course, it’s possible he’s turning to her for help winning Javi back from Gus, though I don’t see how she can do anything for him with that, either.

Plus, Abe and Lexie will renew their vows before Lexie gets ready to disappear forever. I hope there’s a twist in this, because this plot point seems pointless if Lexie is dying.
