Extended Family – Cancelled at NBC after 1 Season

Spoilers

Press Release
NBC has decided to cancel the Jon Cryer comedy “Extended Family” after just one season. During its 13-episode debut, “Extended Family” garnered an average of 3.2 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating (including Live+7 playback). Among the three sitcoms aired by NBC this TV season, it significantly lagged behind the recently renewed “Night Court” in both metrics, although it performed better than “Lopez vs. Lopez,” which was renewed for a third season on Tuesday.
