Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage has been a worthy follow-up to Young Sheldon, continuing the story for some of the comedy’s most beloved characters.
TV Fanatic scored an exclusive first look at Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 Episode 17, which airs Thursday at 8/7c.
The installment in question finds Georgie taking up a new hobby with a sport-style twist.
We’re talking about golf.
Georgie has proven to be a man of many talents throughout the series, but he has this habit of not keeping his new hobbies for very long.
Truthfully, there are many people like that in life, and the constant need to switch things up is more of a sign of not wanting to be stagnant.
In any case, Georgie isn’t afraid to let his family know about his new, but probably temporary, passion.
That doesn’t mean that they will be afraid to let him know their thoughts on the matter.
Family has been at the core of Georgie & Mandy’s First marriage since the beginning, and I don’t expect the series to ever stray from that.
Of course, it doesn’t mean everyone will always be supportive of one another, as evidenced by the clip below.

It’s a barrel of laughs, right?
The good news is that you don’t have to wait too long to watch the entire episode, as it airs on CBS later this evening.
There are still a handful of episodes of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 to air, with Thursday, May 21, 2026, confirmed as the season finale date.
Beyond that, the series has already been renewed for Season 3.
It’s wild that a spinoff of a spinoff has been so successful, but it’s a testament to the enduring appeal of The Big Bang Theory franchise.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is the next entry and serves as a direct sequel to the mothership, so it will be interesting to see how that fares.
