The choice to close down manufacturing on NCIS isn’t just for just a few weeks.
The veteran CBS drama has wrapped manufacturing for the season, in response to forged member Brian Dietzen.
NCIS Season 17 will now include 20 episodes as a substitute of 24.
“Sadly we’ll be shutting down manufacturing of NCIS for the rest of the season after we wrap tomorrow,” the actor tweeted.
“We’ll produce 20 of our 24 episode order. It’s been an incredible 12 months and we’ve just a few extra nice episodes for you all. Thanks a lot for all of the help.”
Whether or not CBS will tack the 4 episodes on to NCIS Season 18, we do not know, and the collection has but to be renewed.
Nevertheless, Sean Murray took to Twitter with a message that had followers questioning whether or not the collection had already been renewed.
“As lots of you may have already heard, #NCIS manufacturing has been placed on maintain in the intervening time. we’ll wrap our present season with 20 eps full and plan to select up the place we left off once we start season 18,” he said, including:
“keep protected… we’ll see you quickly.”
The actor adopted up his preliminary tweet by stating that the collection had not scored an official CBS pickup for subsequent season.
“For individuals who have introduced it up – we’ve not been formally renewed but, so under no circumstances am I asserting a pickup or something. please perceive that.”
CBS introduced earlier this week the collection can be pushing pause on manufacturing, however there was uncertainty about whether or not it could movie the remainder of the season.
It was certainly one of a number of collection to make the choice to halt manufacturing, however there was no affirmation whether or not it could end up the rest of the season at a later date.
Which means that the season is ready to conclude on CBS someday in April, and that the 400th episode shall be pushed to a possible NCIS Season 18.
