Married at First Sight Season 20 has certainly kicked things off in style.
The series finds new life in its Peacock home, and to say that it hasn’t already piqued interest in the early days of the season would be nothing short of an understatement.
And now we were fortunate enough to score an exclusive sneak peek at the all-new batch of episodes.

Now that the weddings are out of the way, we have the honeymoons that are worth looking forward to, and from the sounds of things, it may be one of the first times that the group of newly married couples crosses each other’s paths.
The women and men all met each other ahead of their weddings, but the excitement of the series and some of the dynamics that play out throughout lie in what happens when these couples get to show off their spouses.
But the honeymoon is also the first time when these couples have to deal with each other one-on-one without the comforts and distractions of their friends and family.
It’s when they get their first real taste of what being a married couple may look like, and it’s safe to say that many of the conflicts that inevitably arise in these new relationships often sprout up once they’re trapped together in some form of paradise during the honeymoon.

In our exclusive Married at First Sight clip, that seems to be the case with Caitlin and Devin.
Of the couples, they were among the strongest, who seemed to have an instant connection and attraction to each other.
And despite Caitlin’s father struggling with the process and, dare we say, attempting to steal the spotlight in the middle of the wedding, the two families managed to click quite well.
These are all things that boded well for this pairing, and, at least on the surface, it appeared as though they might just start the season off on solid ground.
But apparently, there are some difficulties that the two need to tackle.

The clip has the pair presumably having their first major dispute as a couple, where it seems like Caitlin is retreating into herself and needing some space, and Devin is fearful that she could be pushing him away.
It’s easy to understand both sides of the equation with this particular argument.
Going from being single to marrying a stranger is a huge deal, and the entire experience is rather overwhelming.
Chances are, the two have been spending a lot of time doing couples’ activities together, eating, sleeping, drinking, and consuming each other’s space.
And if Caitlin is someone who requires some “alone time” to recharge, then this ordeal may have her ready to crawl out of her skin.

Conversely, because they know so little about each other, Devin is worried that Caitlin could already be pulling away from him — retreating into herself, and that doesn’t bode well when you’re trying to get to know someone and build a relationship.
He asserts that he has no intention of smothering her at all, but he’s likely seeking validation and assurance that Caitlin isn’t checking out on him already.
You can see both sides of this equation, and by the end of the clip, it seems that maybe they’ve figured things out — or have they? Is it something that will crop up again?
