It won’t be long now until Colter Shaw is back on your television screen.
Sunday nights really aren’t the same without Colter, Randy, and Reenie saving the day and kicking some butt while doing it.
Lucky for all of us, the wait is almost over.
Tracker Season 3 was the series at its best.
It was the kind of season longtime fans could have hoped for, balancing the show’s trademark action and mystery with meaningful character development.
And Tracker Season 3 Episode 22 chose not to leave audiences on the kind of cliffhanger that has punctuated past seasons.
Instead, Colter was left content, which means there’s no telling what Colter we’ll meet in Tracker Season 4. And that’s a thrilling prospect.
In the latest CBS promotion, Colter is seen in the midst of lots of action, which is typical for him and the cases he takes.
Whether he’s dodging punches or doling out some of his own, Colter’s never been afraid to get his hands dirty, as is apparent in the official teaser.
Quick bursts of action show Colter mounting a moving truck, while another shows him avoiding a massive rock as he traverses a rocky mountainside.
That’s par for the course when it comes to Colter, who often finds himself in some truly dangerous situations on his quest to track down missing people all across the United States.
And there is no slowing down for Colter, who is ready to jump in and help someone at a moment’s notice.
We also get an early look at Randy, who’s become Colter’s right-hand man over the past two seasons and was promoted to series regular for the upcoming season.
Randy’s been a mainstay for some time now.
With his upgrade to series regular, though, it’ll be nice to see even more of the hacker extraordinaire, and this may be the season that delves into Randy’s backstory more, like the series has done recently for Reenie.
Fully fleshing out the characters around Colter and giving us more insight into their motives, along with their connection to and relationship with Colter, has only made the show better.
While Colter is the emotional centerpiece of this action-packed, cross-country, mystery-filled adventure, those he works beside, as well as those he works beside and those he meets along the way each week become an equally important part of the story.
These characters not only drive each week’s mysteries forward but help provide so much of the series’ heart and humanity.
Get ready for another wild ride, Tracker fanatics!

Tracker Season 4 premieres on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at a special delayed time of 9:30 pm ET/8:30 pm CT on CBS. Beginning October 11, 2026, the show will move to its normal time of 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.
