TV Ratings: Emergence Logs New Series Lows

Spoilers

It looks like the random scheduling for ABC’s Emergence is negatively affecting the ratings.

The freshman drama slumped to 2.3 million viewers and a 0.4 rating, slipping 43 percent in the demo.

Our critic is enjoying the thriller, but are you tuning out because of the scheduling?

Elsewhere on ABC, The Conners (5.7 million/1.0 rating), Bless This Mess (3.4 million/0.6 rating), and mixed-ish (2.6 million/0.6 rating) were all steady at season lows, while black-ish (2.4 million/0.6 rating) inched up.

Over on NBC, The Voice was stable with 8.3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating.

This Is Us (7.3 million/1.5 rating) and New Amsterdam (5.5 million/0.8 rating) each got a boost for their 2019 finales.

NCIS (11 million/1.0 rating) was down, but FBI (8.8 million/0.8 rating) and NCIS: New Orleans (6.9 million/0.7 rating) each rebounded form last week’s lows.

The Resident’s wild episode did 3.9 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.

Empire languished with 2.7 million viewers and a 0.7 rating. Remember when this show was a hit?

Over on The CW, The Flash (1.3 million/0.5 rating) and Arrow (0.7 million/0.2 rating) returned from one week breaks with steady ratings.
