TV Ratings: Young Sheldon and Ellen Lead Non-Sports Programming

Young Sheldon may be down without The Big Bang Theory, but it is still pulling in decent ratings. 

The latest episode of the spinoff scored 8.2 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating, showing great stability. 

This keeps the series as the network’s number one comedy, so that’s a major positive. 

Do you still watch?

After Young Sheldon, The Unicorn (5.6 million/0.6 rating) and Mom (6.2 million/0.7 rating each inched down in the demo. 

Carol’s Second Act is also proving to be a stable series, despite being one of the most laugh-challengd comedies around. 

It had 5 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating. 

The fall finale of Evil had 3.6 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating, marking steady ratings for a fifth straight week. 

This show has already been renewed. Hooray, right?

Over on The CW, Supernatural Season 15 Episode 8 had 1.1 million viewers and a 0.3 rating, coming in right on par with its season average.

After that, Legacies Season 2 Episode 8 had 0.9 million viewers and a 0.3 rating, marking its best total viewer tally since March.

Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways marked another strong performance, pulling in 5.9 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. 

Viewers really like watching Ellen doling out the gifts. In a later time slot, Superstore (2.8 million/0.6 rating) was down double digits, but Perfect Harmony (1.8 million/0.4 rating) was steady.
