Lionsgate Television is developing a TV series based on Stephanie Meyer’s best-selling Twilight books, with Meyer expected to be involved. The Twilight films, which grossed over $3.4B globally, recently moved from Netflix to NBCUniversal’s Peacock. Lionsgate also owns The Hunger Games franchise, which is being expanded with the release of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in November. Warner Bros. Discovery is also creating a decade-long series version of Harry Potter, with J.K. Rowling executive producing and a new cast.
