A Shocking Blockbuster Win Sends Another Houseguest Home

- Advertisment -

A shocking Blockbuster win sent home a Big Brother Houseguest after a house flip. Two of the reality TV icons — Season 26’s Angela Murray and Survivor‘s Dee Valladares were put on the block. A power shook up the nominations after Houseguests played the beloved OTEV competition. Read on to find out what happened this week.

After Chuk Anyanwu was evicted in a nine-to-one vote against Barrett Pfeiffer, the Toolshed alliance was officially disbanded. Only Haley Thogmartin, Chuk’s closest ally, voted to keep him in the game. This left 12 people still in the game.

HOH was up for grabs in week six, and there may finally be some new faces on the block. Read on to find out who won the coveted title, who was nominated, and more as the week rolls on.

HOH: Yash Patel won the knockout competition. Houseguests had to try to figure out which square had the most bugs in it and be the first to ring in correctly with the right answer. This is the first competition Yash has won, and he has been laying low, so his plans were up in the air, but he said he was planning to target the icons.

Nominees: Yash decided to stick to his guns and nominate Angela, as well as Dee, despite being in an alliance with her. Dee tried to use her BB Bribe on him, which would have given Yash $5,000 if he didn’t put her up, but he decided not to take it. Dee also put him up in week one, so he figured it made sense to put her up. The third nominee was Haley, whom he said was everyone’s target.

Timecapsule: Melody Morris on the Timecapsule vote. She received the Lady of the Latrine punishment, where she had to dress up in an old-timey outfit and blow a horn every time a Houseguest had to go to the bathroom and yell across the house that they were using it. The punishment only lasted 24 hours. The Timecapsule lasts for only one more week.

POV: Yash on the beloved OTEV competition and chose not to use the veto, keeping his nominations the same. However, Survivor alum Rick Devens decided to use his Diamond POV, which he won from the Timecapsule, and take Dee off the block. This power also let him choose the replacement nominee. Devens chose Kamu Kirk to go up on the block.

This shocked Yash and Kamu, as they thought they were in a solid alliance with Devens. The Survivor player is now the only Houseguest to have not been nominated so far this season.

Blockbuster: Angela took herself off the block after winning the competition. The nominees had to clock 10 flying red balls and 10 flying yellow balls and put them in the matching containers. Whoever got them first was safe.

Evicted: Kamu was evicted by a vote of eight to one. Only LaTrice Verrett voted to keep Kamu, and she seemed shocked that the whole house flipped their votes.
