Alabama Barker is applauding her “role model” stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian on her forty-fifth birthday. The well wishes flowed in from Kardashian’s sisters. Yet, it was the love she got from Alabama that was extremely special. Keep reading to see what the eighteen-year-old had to say.
Alabama Barker Applauds ‘Role Model’ Stepmother
It is no secret that Travis Barker’s two children, Landon and Alabama Barker approve of his wife, Kourtney Kardashian. Travis and Kourtney had been friends for quite some time before they started dating in 2020. Previously, it had been alleged that he was interested in her sister, Kim Kardashian but once he and Kourt got together, they could not keep their hands to themselves. It was constant PDA which often irked Kourtney’s three children, Reign, Penelope, and Mason who she shares with ex, Scott Disick.
As for Travis, he had previously been married to model and actress Shanna Moakler. The two had Alabama and Landon but parted ways. She has since revealed that he was unfaithful during their time together plus sent mean comments into a publication about her as a mother. More so, she knew that she could never compete with the Kardashian lifestyle being offered to her children. Now, her youngest daughter, Alabama is sending out a sweet message to her stepmother, Kourtney on her birthday. She shared it on her Instagram stories in a series of snaps.
Alabama started with a selfie from Kourtney’s wedding day in 2022. She then followed it up with them sitting side by side. Over the photo, Alabama Barker wrote this:
- I love you! thank you for everything you’ve done for me & looking out continuously, you are a great role model & also make sure to teach me how to be a great young women, your so family-oriented and make sure to always put us first it never goes unnoticed, thank you for being you.
She concluded with a photo of the two of them standing side by side at the Blink-182 show the night Kourt revealed her fourth pregnancy to the public.
Slap In Her Mother’s Face?
Clearly, this is somewhat of a slap in Shanna Moakler’s face. Though she and Alabama Barker have had an up-and-down relationship, this cannot be easy to see or read, especially so close to Mother’s Day. However, as aforementioned, Shanna knew when Travis got into this family that things would be even tougher. Especially with her kids and the lifestyle that the Kardashians could give them along with what Travis provided.
