Former Bringing Up Bates stars Alyssa Bates and John Webster have welcomed their baby boy to the world! They shared the exciting news with fans and spilled all of the details about their new addition. Keep reading to find out when he was born and check out the first photos of the little guy.
In September 2022, Alyssa and John announced to fans that they were expecting their fifth child. The couple already has four daughters, Allie, Lexi, Zoey, and Maci. Plus, they have a dog named Mia. Later, they shared that their little one is a boy and eventually announced his name: Rhett Alan.
Throughout her pregnancy, Alyssa has kept fans updated via Instagram and YouTube. She has experienced many ups and downs over the past nine months and has even needed IVs due to her extreme nausea and vomiting. Fortunately, everything seemed to be okay with the baby’s health.

As TV Shows Ace reported on Saturday, Alyssa shared a new Instagram post from the hospital, revealing that it was baby time! The excited mama wrote, “TODAY’S THE DAY!!!! It’s officially BABY TIME!!!!” You can see the photo she shared below.
John & Alyssa Webster welcome their son to the world.
Later on Saturday evening, Alyssa happily shared that her baby boy was officially here! She posted a new photo of herself, John, and Rhett on Instagram, giving fans an update about his recent arrival. The mom of five said:
“Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers for my labor and delivery. Baby Rhett arrived @ 7:03pm. He is absolute PERFECTION!!!!!!! 😍 We’re both doing wonderful ❤️”

Of course, fans, friends, and family members are sending lots of love to the Websters. Carlin Bates Stewart said, “He is already so loved! Congratulations, Sis!!!”
Katie Bates Clark sweetly commented, “So happy for you guys!”
Then, Josie Bates Balka chimed in, “Congratulations!! We can’t wait to meet him! 💛💛💛 And you look gorgeous.”
