1000-Lb. Sisters is heating up this season as we watch Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman navigate life. The sisters have been on their weight loss journey for years now. Although this season will focus on Tammy’s time in rehab, it will also focus on Amy’s pregnancy with her second son. Amy has always wanted to be a mother and with two sons under three now, she is well on her way. More so, Amy has many fans who have been curious about how much she loves motherhood. However, Amy has stated that there are some tough parts of being a mom of two kids.
Is Motherhood Hard On Amy Halterman?
Recently, In Touch Weekly dove a little deeper into Amy Halterman’s life with two sons. Her first son, Gage, was born in November 2020, and Glenn was born in January 2022. As fans watch this season of the show, Amy has been gorging on horrible food during this pregnancy. She even told her doctor that she is eating whatever she wants. Amy mentioned that she is not going to be hard on herself if she gains weight during this pregnancy. However, motherhood hasn’t been the easiest for Amy. She has been working on the show while trying to be a good mother. Fans have noticed that she does seem exhausted, but she keeps on pushing through.
1000-Lb. Sisters fans were happy to hear Amy Halterman explaining the hardest parts of having two kids. She opened up, “The best part is getting to see them interact with each other and get to know each other. The worst part is when I’m home alone with the two of them, and they both start crying at the same time. I don’t know which one to give my attention to first.” Additionally, Amy added that she loves that Glenn has a built-in best friend and big brother in Gage.

Of course, we see a lot of Michael Halterman on 1000-Lb. Sisters. His role on the show helps reel viewers in as he assists his wife, Amy Halterman navigate life. Michael has shown that he is a very patient and kind husband and a great dad. In the past, there have been a lot of rumors about their marriage. Many fans see him as the quiet type, but mainly because Amy is very outspoken. Fans of the show have noticed that she doesn’t like to wear a wedding band and this is how these rumors all came about.
Amy was quick to share with her fans more information about their marriage. In fact, she pointed out why she doesn’t wear her ring. She noted that she has gained a lot of weight with the pregnancies and overeating. Her ring won’t fit most times, so she has decided to take it off until she loses more weight.
