What To Know
- The FBI Season 8 finale on May 18 sees the team dealing with the theft of a bioweapon.
- TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek.
- Zeeko Zaki talks about where OA’s head is going into the episode.
OA (Zeeko Zaki) isn’t exactly in the best place heading into the FBI Season 8 finale. He was temporarily reassigned in the penultimate episode after clashing with ADIC Green (Curtiss Cook) about orders, then Zara (Pardis Saremi) took responsibility for a move that would’ve had him on Green’s bad side again.
Now, going into the Monday, May 18, finale — airing at a special time, 8/7c — titled, “Defector,” OA has a lot on his mind. But based on what Zaki had to say, we shouldn’t be too worried?
“Just because the water is getting muddy, he will still stick to his moral compass. It’s the only thing he can trust — that and Maggie [Missy Peregrym], of course,” he tells TV Insider. “But yes, his world is a little messy at the moment, but he will focus on the next step and try his best to make the right move.”
As for how the finale will end to set up Season 9 (the last of a multi-year renewal from 2024), all he’ll tease is, “I hope the end of the episode is the audience’s worst nightmare… I’ll leave it at that.”
In “Defector,” CBS teases, “The theft of a bioweapon from an unwitting defector forces the team to work with an old foe to secure the lethal pathogen and prevent an outbreak in N.Y.C. Also, OA’s future on the team is put into question.”
Plus, watch our exclusive sneak peek above for a look at the case as Maggie, OA, Scola (John Boyd), and Eva (Juliana Aidén Martinez) go over what they know, which includes a special ops marine and army ranger. Watch the full sneak peek to see the disturbing scene they find — and how Anna Vorpe (Claire Coffee) is involved.
