April Kirkwood reveals her pick for Gerry Turner
Golden Bachelor contestant April Kirkwood didn’t find forever love with Gerry Turner. However, she does have her opinion about who would be a good choice for him. Glamour shared her thoughts on it. Based on what she saw while filming the show, April thinks that Leslie or Ellen would be her top choices for the leading man.
She said, “I think Leslie. I think he really liked Leslie. She’s young enough, cute enough, enough of a spitfire. But she’s earthy. She’ll go in the mud and do all of that. And Ellen is very elegant. Ellen has the sweetest heart ever. So I would have to say I would choose Leslie or Ellen for him. I think I intimidated him.”
What does she think of the Theresa, Kathy drama
It seems April is on Kathy’s side in regard to all the drama that occurred between her and Theresa. In fact, she is hoping while Gerry is watching everything back he will see who Theresa is. When asked about it April said, “A girl can only pray. Maybe it’s the Indiana water. Maybe he’s not seeing.”
She has become very close to Kathy and Susan. In fact, the three of them are planning a vacation together in January. They also talk several times a day. She said they had already spoken three times during the morning of the interview.
April clarified some things
During the interview, April also clarified that she had never been with a woman. While they were playing Never Have I Ever, producers showed her eating ice cream after that question came up. When it aired her children even questioned her about it. She said that is absolutely not true and joked she likes bad boys.
April also shared that she is looking forward to seeing Gerry again at the taping of the Women Tell All. She already has her dress picked out and is ready to go.
