Ariana Grande is back out on tour, and fans are thrilled about this. Even celebrities are lining up to see her on stage, especially on the heels of Wicked’s success. Unfortunately, many who were attending shows in July are now in a panic amid last-minute concert postponements. Keep reading for more details on what is going on.
Ariana Grande Making A Splash On Tour
The last time Ariana was on tour was back in 2019. Now, she has been a prominent figure over the last several years given the popularity of Wicked. Moreover, she has hosted SNL and did an incredible amount of press for her film, where she played Galinda. It felt like she and Cynthia Erivo were everywhere, and now she is back on tour, and fans are thrilled. Ariana Grande is going everywhere, but unfortunately, some shows had to be postponed. Things happen, but attendees were less than thrilled.

The show postponed for July 12th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, was moved to the 14th of July. Then, two shows in Boston at the TD Garden for July 22nd and July 24th have been moved to the 23rd and 26th, respectively. The shows are going on relatively soon after they were postponed, within a day or two. However, fans and attendees are not happy, as they feel that they have been highly inconvenienced. Some were traveling out of state to attend. That means that they have plane tickets that will not accommodate the switch.

One fan had this to say about the change:
- MY FLIGHT TICKET IS NON-REFUNDABLE WTFFF DO I DOOOO?
Others wanted to be compensated for the inconvenience that they were experiencing. There is no solid reason for the change. However, the messages claim that Ariana Grande cannot deliver the show she wants on the original dates. When tickets are purchased, there is always a chance this can happen, and fans know this. Unfortunately, even with ticket insurance, it cannot cover everything, especially when the show is at a distance.
Does Ariana Care?
After this happened, fans felt that Ariana Grande owed them something. They seemed to feel like she did this out of spite, which was likely untrue. There was a lot of negativity thrown at the performer, mainly out of anger:
- All shows are subject to change this is a gamble we all take when we get tickets!?
- BRO. You’re kidding- I LITERALLY JUST BROUGHT TICKETS- omfg,
- I’m traveling all the way from Argentina and my return flight is on Sunday I had tickets to the 24th show and now all the flights are super expensive 💔 is there any way to get a ticket to the show on the 23th?
- You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve planned my entire summer around this show.
There were a lot of people trying to swap tickets with each other, so the fans want to make it work. Others were hoping to sell because they could not make it.
