Former Bachelor Clayton Echard is sharing where he and Gabby Windey stand after their internet tease got fans going wild. The two occasionally have fun with each other online and fans are loving it. Bachelor Clayton Echard reveals where he and Gabby Windey stand
Gabby Windey got fans going crazy and fueled the rumor mill recently when she shared a sexy photo of herself on social media. The stunning photo of Gabby had a clever caption. It read, “Cl*y ton was supposed to propose to me in this dress.” Fans wanted to see Clayton respond and he did. He replied, “Bring the dress to Scottsdale this weekend.”
Gabby never replied to his remarks but he knows she saw it. Fans went nuts. Many said he’d missed his chance and to give up. Others were all for the reunion.
This isn’t even the first time he has commented on her posts. During a recent podcast interview, Clayton shared another instance where he commented on Gabby’s post. He said, “Gabby posted something else recently about her selling the dresses from when we were in the same season, and I commented, ‘Don’t be shy, tag him.’ I’m just having fun with it.”
Where do they stand? He went on to say that he has no bad blood towards Gabby. However, he has no idea how she feels about him. He hopes it’s all water under the bridge but admits they haven’t spoken since his season ended.
So, while many were hoping for a Clayton/Gabby reunion it looks like it was all just in good fun and isn’t happening anytime soon.
Does he want to slide into her DMs?
Joe Amabile asked Clayton if he’s thought about sliding into Gabby’s DMs. He said that no he would never do that. He hopes that one day they can be friends but that is it. Clayton realizes that Gabby is in a good place and could never revisit the possibility of him and her.
He said he doesn’t blame her and wouldn’t want anyone to feel like they were his second choice. He made his choice clear when he chose Susie Evans over Gabby and Rachel Recchia.
So, as much as some fans would want to see them reconnect it just will never happen.
