Ashley Hebert Says Marriage Was Going To ‘Kill’ Her
Ashley Hebert hasn’t said much about her divorce. She shared her most revealing comments on the I Do, Part 2 podcast this week. She opened up about how her marriage was affecting her health.
“I felt, you know how women they hold in a lot of stress? And it says it leads to autoimmune diseases? I [was] like, ‘This marriage is going to kill me. It’s going to kill me,’” she said. Her former husband had his own health issues during their marriage.
Ashley Hebert said she meant “no offense” to J.P. Rosenbaum by her comments. She went on to say that her health and being around for her kids were a contributing factor in the decision to divorce. But there was one thing she refused to elaborate on.

What She Won’t Say
Ashley Herbert revealed that there was one specific moment that finalized her decision to leave. “I was like, ‘This is it. There’s no turning back from this,’” the Bachelorette star said. However, she refused to elaborate on the incident, saying it was “too personal” to share.
She did, however, reveal that they tried therapy before separating but it only made the situation worse. In fact, the moment in therapy was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Maybe someday she will share more about the real reason for the divorce. But for now, she’s enjoying her life as a single mom.
“I think divorce is OK if it’s not working for you,” she advised anyone else struggling in their marriages. Share your thoughts in the comments.
