Many people think reality shows could be a gateway to fortune and fame, or at least an easy paycheck. However, one Bachelor Nation alum recently opened up about financial issues through court documents. This was DeAnna Pappas, star of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
Following A Turn On The Bachelor, DeAnna Pappas Starred On The Fourth Season Of The Bachelorette
Reality show fans were first introduced to DeAnna after she appeared on Season 11 of The Bachelor. While she made it to the final rose ceremony, the season’s “Bachelor,” Brad Womack, ultimately decided not to choose between either of the finalists, a first in the series’ history.
Following this, DeAnna was chosen to star in the fourth season of The Bachelorette. She eventually accepted the marriage proposal of professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak. However, the two broke off their engagement a few months after the show. After this, DeAnna was married to Stephen Stagliano from 2011 to 2023. The two share two children together.

Recently, TMZ shared a recent update about Deanna’s life, noting some concern for her finances. While she and Stephen finalized their divorce agreement in 2024, the former couple have remained in court over multiple financial issues since then.
According to the outlet, the star claims that she has been living off her savings since losing her job in 2025. This was revealed in new docs, including an income and expense declaration, filed in the ongoing court battle.
According to DeAnna, her work is not consistent at the moment. Noting that Stephen paid her $1,500 per month as spousal support, she claimed that she hasn’t earned anything from her podcast last month. She also claimed that her average monthly income from her work as a flight attendant is $2,618.

While DeAnna has been living off her savings, she noted that they “decreased approximately $60,000 since October 2025.” She shared that he has around $35K in savings, with another $20K in personal property.

As for her current expenses, DeAnna shared that she spends $9,989 a month in expenses. This included $4,500 in rent and $700 on groceries. She also claimed to have around $23K in credit card debt.
