Barrett Pfeiffer will go down in history for trying to take down the icons on Season 28 of Big Brother. He got out Angela Murray, which wasn’t his main or even backup goal, but he still took the shot.
He set himself up early in the game with the Crossovers alliance, which he eventually put up, and then the Toolshed alliance. Both of those bridges have been burned.
Despite making half of the house mad, Barrett, from Austin, Texas, is still close friends with Drew Campbell, who has been playing both sides. Barrett is known for his 6’6 frame, sweet personality, and rarely wearing shirts. Now, on the block, he may be in trouble if he doesn’t win the Power of Veto or the Blockbuster.

His job
Barrett is a jumbotron engineer. So, that means if you go to a sports game and see “Make Some Noise!” or the players’ names and stats on the board, that is most likely him controlling it. In a post that he made on his Instagram, it appears that he controls the jumbotron at the University of Texas at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. He appeared to have gotten the job in July 2024.
The Instagram also shared that he has worked as a technical director, camera operator, editor, replay technician, and many other positions of this sort in Texas and Arkansas. Before his current job, Barrett worked as a broadcast director/producer at the University of Arkansas.
His schooling
Barrett attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas, where he grew up, and graduated in 2020. It is not clear what he studied, but judging by his line of work, he took up media of some sort or engineering.
Barrett is a superfan
In his introduction, it read, “Barrett from Texas has superfan knowledge of the game and is prepared to use it.” He has talked about being a superfan of the game on the show.
Although it is not clear when he started watching the show, the 28-year-old has been a fan of the show for many years. A friend of his commented on the post above that he was voted out first during his Big Brother-themed 12th birthday party, so safe to say he’s been a big fan for a long time.
He runs a podcast
Barrett runs the Our Reality Podcast with two of his friends. They cover Big Brother, Survivor, The Traitors, The Amazing Race, and more. The other two cohosts are keeping the podcast going while Barrett is in the Big Brother house.
Is he single?
Yes! Barrett is single. However, it appeared her had a crush on his Houseguest, Mallory, but never acted on it. During the BB Comics competition, he looked at Mallory’s picture and said she was “so hot.” He has also flirted with Dee Valladares.
