Brandi Glanville’s marriage to Eddie Cibrian ended in a humiliating and public way. Tabloids published photos of him canoodling with his Northern Lights co-star, LeAnn Rimes. The country singer was also married at the time. The affair exploded both marriages. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian tied the knot two years after their affair went public.

A clip from an episode of her Unfiltered podcast went viral on social media. Brandi Glanville discusses nearly going broke after her ex-husband’s betrayal. She revealed that she had to drop big bucks to keep him from stealing her money. “I had to hire a lawyer to get my own 401K back from [my ex-husband]. He was trying to keep it,” she said on the podcast.
According to Brandi Glanville, the legal battle cost $10K. Ultimately, she prevailed and was able to keep her 401K. She used her story as a cautionary tale for her former RHOBH co-stars going through divorces.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky separated in 2023 but neither has filed for divorce. Dorit and PK Kemsley separated in 2024 and are currently in the middle of a contentious divorce.
“That goes back to Housewives, they’re all getting divorced and half of them don’t even have a 401K. Get your s*** together ladies. Know where the money is,” Brandi Glanville advised.
Hints At New Legal Trouble
Things between Brandi Glanville, her ex and his new wife took another blow earlier this year when she claimed that LeAnn Rimes was joining RHOBH and “taking” her diamond. In the podcast clip, Brandi hints that more legal trouble might be brewing. “I’m going to have to get a lawyer to fight, which is so ridiculous. I don’t want that for anyone,” she said about the mysterious issue.
