This time it’s not just a photoshoot. Bachelor alums Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell secretly got married. On Monday, the couple teased something big was being announced on Tuesday. They shocked Bachelor Nation on Tuesday morning by sharing they got married in a surprise and very secret ceremony. Keep reading to get all the details.
Brayden Bowers And Christina Mandrell Are Husband And Wife
Fans have loved seeing Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell together since they met after his time on Bachelor in Paradise. After meeting in the summer of 2023, he proposed to her at the Golden Wedding on live television.
When he proposed, he told her it was the first time in his life he met someone he could be “unapologetically” himself with.
She happily accepted and he moved to Tennessee that week to be with her and her daughter Blakely. They instantly became a family and he fit right into their lives. She even made him a special earring display in their closet. At the time she said, “He doesn’t know about this yet, but there might be some lights and some music and rotating displays for [his] earrings at the house when we get there.”
Fast forward a year and they are now officially husband and wife. Bachelor Nation shared exclusively the announcement and their adorable wedding video. Brayden and Christina have been keeping a little secret. They actually got married on December 12, 2024.
Fans had no idea and they even celebrated their “engagementversary” on Instagram without spilling the tea that they had secretly tied the knot.
In the video, the happy couple filmed themselves walking out of the courthouse saying they just got their wedding license and nobody knows about it. They picked up her daughter Blakely from school, grabbed some Target roses and went to an adorable gazebo in Nashville.
More Details About Their Wedding
Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell did not have fancy photographers or even any guests at their shocking wedding. Blakely threw some rose petals before Christina made her way to the gazebo looking gorgeous in a white dress, fluffy white jacket and big white bow in her hair.
As for Brayden, he wore slack, a light blue shirt and a suit jacket. They both looked perfect.
Blakely filmed the wedding for them. The video featured them saying their vows to each other. The officiant cited sweet sentiments about how they will always reach for each other’s hands throughout life. Christina shed a tear during that part.
They continued to look lovingly into each other’s eyes, holding hands while Brayden kissed the top of her head a few times. Finally, it was made official. They were pronounced husband and wife. The officiant introduced them for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Brayden Bowers.
The couple will appear on Bachelor Happy Hour Tuesday to share more about their surprise wedding.
