However, there only appears to be one confirmed unmarried relationship at the moment. Trace and Lydia Bates tied the knot on Saturday, and Lawson and Tiffany got hitched in May.

Fans seem to think that Jackson Bates will soon propose to his girlfriend, Emerson Wells. It’s also possible that he already proposed to her and just hasn’t announced it yet. In the past, fans have pointed out that the Bates sometimes announce their courtships once they are serious and close to proposing. Jackson revealed to Bringing Up Bates fans that he and Emerson are courting back in July.
In one Reddit post, a fan said they think Jackson and Emerson are very close because the nieces and nephews already love her. You can see her holding Maci (Alyssa and John’s daughter) in the photo below.
In another Reddit post, a Bringing Up Bates fan shared a new family photo taken at the wedding. And Emerson even appeared in that one. You can see the red arrow pointing to Jackson and Emerson in the back row.
One fan said, “I bet they’re already engaged and haven’t announced yet.”
Another fan weighed in and said, “They never seem to have new gf/bf’s in the big photo unless it’s definitely happening.” Plenty of others agreed.
At this point, Emerson and Jackson aren’t known to be engaged. But it wouldn’t surprise fans if that’s the next announcement.
