Bringing Up Bates star Michaela Keilen has a little update to share with fans amid her infertility. As fans know, Michaela and her husband, Brandon have been struggling to conceive for years. They would love to add a baby to their family, but they have yet to have that opportunity.
Though they were open about their infertility journey a while ago on their family’s show, they recently decided to keep things more private. They have been walking through the many hard times behind the scenes.
Though they haven’t shared too many updates lately, fans are still thinking of them and praying for them. Fans believe that Michaela and Brandon would be wonderful parents and that they deserve to have a child of their own.
As of right now, they don’t have a pregnancy announcement to make. But Michaela did allow fans to ask her questions on Instagram over the weekend. During the Q&A session, she revealed some details about where she is with her infertility and what’s been happening in the past few months.

In case you didn’t know, several of the Bates sisters have a blood clotting disorder. So, a fan asked Michaela if she too has the disorder. In response, she writes, “Yes, I have had extensive blood testing and genetic testing done. I have multiple blood clotting disorders.”
Then, she goes on to give fans an update on the fertility care she is receiving. She writes, “We have seen an incredible fertility specialist here in TN. We were on a waiting list for about 8 months to see him and after our first visit I understood why. He and his team have been incredible. He ordered a lot of blood work for us and was able to answer many questions that had previously been ‘unknown.’ He has also given us advice and guidance.”
Hopefully, the answers, advice, and guidance Michaela and Brandon have received will help them to move forward, no matter what their plans look like. Through all of these ups and downs, the couple has stayed strong. Fans applaud them for their bravery and strength.
