Oh, baby baby! Britney Spears made a mysterious baby announcement on Instagram that led fans to believe she is having a baby.
“If you’re lucky, I have someone unbelievably beautiful I want to introduce you to… hopefully this year, and if not, the most beautiful things will never be seen!!!!!” she wrote on July 15. “Come what may… oh so near but the feet I feel lived too much in fear so the soil of ground that silence suspends is where I’m found yet there begin!!!! It’s in the silence!!!!!!”
The first photo featured a bunch of baby items, such as a onesie that read “Phoenix has arrived,” a baby hat, baby shorts, and a mini unicorn backpack. Then, a photo of her son, Jayden, when he was younger, resting in Spears’ arms came next.
The other photos in the post were a painting of a mother lifting a shell up to reveal her son, and praying hands. There was also a video of Spears sitting on the floor with a man who appeared to be her trainer. She stretched into a straddle and then did a back handspring.
So is the singer having a baby? It is not clear. The 44-year-old already has two sons — Jayden, 19, and Sean, 20 — with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
In a now-deleted post, Spears declared this past Father’s Day that she wanted to have another baby, according to Page Six. “It’s an emotional day for me, guitars remind me of baby aliens, such gentle strings,,, music is said to be the speech of angels,, I bought this one in Mexico in hopes one day I can have another baby,” she captioned the post, referencing a guitar she was holding.
Spears was previously married to Sam Asghari, whom she divorced in 2024. They did not have any children together.
A source for Star told them that Spears’ family is “horrified” for her to have another baby, even though the Crossroads star is dead set on it.
“Britney is deadly serious. She believes she can still get pregnant naturally, but if that doesn’t happen quickly, she’s willing to go down the surrogate or adoption route,” the source shared.
