Ride or Die may have just landed on Prime Video, but we’re already obsessed with the possibility of Sam (Calam Lynch) and Queenie’s (Savannah Steyn) partnership becoming something more in a potential second season.
Although the show hasn’t officially been renewed for Season 2, there are plenty of loose threads to pick up if the next chapter gets a green light, one of which would be the team-up between the newest agency hire, Queenie, and her handler, Sam. Warning: Spoilers for Ride or Die Season 1 ahead!
A weapons specialist, Queenie is seemingly the biological daughter of the Director (Bill Nighy), and while Sam, who is friends with Queenie outside of work, was ready to make his grand exit from the agency after deactivating assassin Judith (Hannah Waddingham) in the system, things shifted.
When the Director revealed that Sam would be serving as Queenie’s new handler, it hinted at a dangerous game as Queenie is operating under the guise of working with Interpol.
