Carrie Underwood is a judge on American Idol. She is currently on her second season of the show. However, she has won the show before. That is where she got her start. Carrie has brought some new things to the show. She brings a different perspective for contestants as she has competed before. However, she also had them switch some things up this season. All of the auditions were in Nashville so that she could be closer to her family. However, most did not seem to mind this.

She Admits That She ‘Always Gets Sad’ While On Tour
Carrie Underwood has admitted that she “always gets sad” while on tour. However, she has a reason for this. It seems that she has a hard time narrowing down which songs she will be singing. She wants to have a mix of new and old songs. However, she does get sad when they have to leave some out.
“Finding that perfect balance of just enough new stuff and obviously the ones that people expect to hear, but I always get sad, I’m like ‘Aww, we’re not gonna do that one?’ I can’t be on stage for four hours singing my songs. After two hours of my songs, I’m like, ‘Eww,’ and, ‘I’m hurtin’.’”
She has a hard time with this. However, she does always please fans when it comes to playing different kinds of her music.

It seems as though the hardest part for Carrie is choosing which songs are going to make the cut and which aren’t. She always gets sad when it comes to leaving some songs out of the mix. However, she knows that after about two hours of singing, she is done and wants to be done. Fans do not blame her, as it is physically and emotionally draining to do much more than that.
