Jack Jordan’s Conviction is heading to the small screen at Hulu. The law drama, which was published in 2024, is being adapted for the streamer with one of its most decorated stars in the lead.
Here’s everything to know about Hulu’s Conviction so far.
Who stars in Conviction?
The Handmaid’s Tale alum Elisabeth Moss will lead Conviction as Neve Harper, an attorney taking on the case of a lifetime. The series will also star now-former Grey’s Anatomy long-timer Kevin McKidd, per Variety, in a mystery role. Also starring are Linda Emond, Jimmi Simpson, Sebastian De Souza, Adam Godley, Zainab Jah, Ashley Zukerman, and José Zúñiga.
The series boasts David Shore as showrunner and executive producer, while Moss executive produces alongside Lindsey McManus for Love & Squalor Pictures, Jack Jordan, Warren Littlefield, Ann Johnson, and Lisa Harrison for The Littlefield Co, Bert Salke for Co-Lab21, and Erin Gunn for Shore Z.
What is Conviction about?
The series adapts Jordan’s novel of the same name about an attorney who’s defending a man accused of killing his wife by setting their home on fire, but soon, she becomes the subject of blackmailing herself and is “forced to compromise every legal, moral, and ethical obligation to gain an acquittal — or else risk her dark secrets being exposed.”
The book’s description offers more clues, reading, “A matter of days before the case, as Neve is travelling home for the night, she is approached by a man. He tells her she must throw the case or the secret about her husband’s disappearance will be revealed. Failing that, he will kill everyone she cares about until she does as she is told.”
When will Conviction premiere?
It is currently too early to know when the new legal drama will arrive on Hulu, but we will update this post when we do know.
