A new heist series is coming to Apple TV.
Anthony Mackie, Jamie Dornan, and more are set to star in 12 12 12, first announced in 2024. The drama will take place across three different timelines (hence the title) for heist — the events leading up to it, the action itself, and what comes after — with Mackie and Dornan’s characters at the center of it.

When does 12 12 12 premiere?
Apple TV has yet to set a 12 12 12 premiere date. But the series did film in 2025 (in Hungary), so it’s possible we could know one soon. Since one hasn’t been announced yet, chances are it wouldn’t be until late 2026 or early 2027, the earliest, at this point.
Who stars in 12 12 12?
The series stars Anthony Mackie, Jamie Dornan, Jack Kesy, Kali Reis (pictured below in True Detective: Night Country), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Agathe Rousselle, and Sallie Harmsen. (Mackie and Dornan previously worked together on 2019’s Synchronic.)

Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble created the series. They also wrote and executive produce along with Kari Skogland (who directed the pilot), Mackie, Dornan, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell.
What is 12 12 12 about?
12 12 12 takes place across the three timelines of a heist. It follows the 12 months of planning for the heist, the 12 hours of the heist itself, and the 12 days immediately after the heist. Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent and Dornan an American career criminal who are caught in a zero-sum game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the center of that is the daring, epic raid on a bank vault underneath the streets of Zurich.
