Netflix’s limited series about one of the most notorious unsolved murders in modern American history is currently in development. Titled The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey, the series will explore the tragic unsolved murder of the six-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey and include the story of the Ramsey family, before and after the tragedy, as they go through intense public scrutiny caused by a media frenzy.
JonBenét Ramsey stars Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen as JonBenét’s parents, Patsy and John Ramsey, and Emily Mitchell is set to play JonBenét. The series will also feature Garrett Hedlund, Alison Pill, Shea Whigham. Tzi Ma, Will Patton, Clifton Collins Jr., Chris Bauer, and Margo Martindale, among others. Most of the actors are playing characters based on real people tied to the infamous unsolved murder case.
