Chase and Sarah Morrill are three months into their Bed & Breakfast undertaking on Maine Cabin Masters: All Inn. Viewers of the HGTV–Magnolia Network spin-off have already seen the family tackle the lounge, library, and bathrooms.
Next up are the bedroom guest suites. With seven overall, the couple focused on four that needed the most work. Along with work on these spaces, the crew also had to start on the barn as it was eventually transformed into a venue space for weddings and other gatherings. The good news was Chase and Sarah are right on track maintaining the $800,000 budget they set so far.

The plan was to have the suites have an overarching theme. Chase and Sarah take a stroll for a brainstorming session. They discussed the history with its roots tied to the Woolworth Estate. It was known for harness-racing horses trained on carriage trials, where they would venture between the neighboring lakes as Chase described. This got Sarah thinking they should maybe name the Bed & Breakfast “Waters Run.”The two agree, tying it to history in a subtle way.
For the room names, they decided to name them after the lakes themselves. The rooms that got overhauled included the Royal Suite now dubbed Cobbossee. They gave a nod to the horsing backstory through the wallpaper and feel. The Androscoggin had the nautical theme and saw a wall torn down to enlarge the space. Then the Annabessaca room got an upgrade as the former Sunshine Room. The ADA accessible downstairs room was consolidated from the original two where it was given the Clearwater suite name in the spirit of the Clearwater Cabin the family went on vacation. Sarah wanted this one to have a particularly rustic look.

On top of the bedrooms, the team also had to start clearing the barn. They already picked through the treasures but planned to repurpose the other items. This would be an ongoing project. They’ll remove the stalls in order to have a place to stage tools while they work on the B&B. The stable deconstruction was no easy task. The bolts aren’t necessarily compatible to what was in their toolbox. That created some frustration.
Through the process, the question whether the place was haunted came up. Sarah didn’t think it was, but her sister-in-law Ashley begged to differ. Chase agreed there was ghosts, maybe even mysteriously playing the piano in there. “I don’t have any evidence. I just know,” Ashley said. Possible ghosts aren’t the only inhabitants in the barn with the crew discovering a porcupine chilling in there. They decided to let it be for now.
The family enlisted the help of local vendors to create bedding, lighting fixtures, and wooden art. When Ryan Eldridge was tasked to help with creating signage for the rooms, Ashley decided to have some fun by hosting the game show “Spell That Lake.” There would be a spelling bee led to Ryan not able to spell Mooselookmeguntic. I dare you to say that one five times fast.
When the work was finally done on the bedrooms, Chase and Sarah’s children Nori and Fletcher came by to give their hot takes. The parents sweetened the deal by adding chocolates to the bedside table. The brother and sister were impressed by the finished product of the suites. Nori admittedly doubted her mom and dad, wondering what they were doing buying an Inn. This gave her some reasons why. Next up for the Cabin Masters was the kitchen areas and dining room.
