Chase Morrill and his wife Sarah are rolling the dice on a big dream in Maine Cabin Masters: All Inn. The spin-off of the popular Magnolia Network series sees the couple transform a dilapidated bed and breakfast into a 12-acre lakeside oasis. Their nine-month journey kicks off with the HGTV premiere on July 19. They’ll start in the lounge and library. Much like the other projects tackled in the Maine Cabin franchise, this comes with unexpected setbacks including rot.
To gear up for the show, TV Insider can share an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode above. While other members of the team are addressing issues outside, Chase and Sarah focused on the inside jobs. That means every little detail and design elements also need attention. Things like cushions for the lounge’s two bay windows.
There were some existing ones that have been sitting in horse stalls for years. Sarah initially felt they weren’t in the worst shape in the world “We’re definitely not reusing these ones,” Chase said fanatically. Sarah thought they might be saved until Chase pointed out stains on one. The couple planned to reach out to someone who could make new ones instead. Chase said, “I can’t believe you wanted to save something I wanted to throw away.”
This will be one of the many decisions made through the process. From there, the renovations are moving forward to different areas from the bathrooms to dining rooms. A caretaker’s apartment gets reimagined to a commercial kitchen. Chase also looks to build three cabins and turn an old common room into a modern lobby.
It all leads to the grand reveal during the finale on August 23, which chronicles the last bits of construction. This episode finds the team turning the horse barn into a venue space, an outdoor area into welcoming patios, and preparing the kitchen service.
Their overall vision has been realized with what would become Waters Run Bed & Breakfast in Monmouth, a quick drive away from Chase and Sarah’s residence. With the property’s history going back to the 1800s, its legacy continues on in new ways. Chase and Sarah’s B&B are now open to guest reservations. Maine Cabin Masters: All Inn comes after Season 13 of the original hit series just aired.
