Christina Applegate Was Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis In 2021
Applegate is a retired American actress. She first gained recognition as Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom Married… with Children.
Applegate announced that she would be stepping away from acting in 2021 after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This year, she also published a memoir, You With The Sad Eyes, which became a New York Times Best Seller.
Applegate has been quiet on social media since she was hospitalized amid medical issues earlier this year. However, she shared a glimpse of herself with fans in the first time in months.
In a new video, Applegate showed off a recent hair dye job, placing her blonde hair on display. She looked directly at the camera before turning to the side.
In a caption, the actress wrote, “Fresh hair color, new weird spot on my cheek haha. Thank you @davestanwell for brightening up my cloudy day. Love you and love to you all out there.”

As previously reported, Applegate was hospitalized at the end of March. She later explained to fans in an update on Instagram, “Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day. I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough.”
