Bear Grylls Is Running Wild
With an Emmy (for Euphoria) and two Oscar and Tony nominations among his many credits and accolades, Colman Domingo could be forgiven for taking it easy between projects. But having battled zombies for years in Fear the Walking Dead, the prolific actor-playwright-producer tackles a new challenge by joining adventurer Bear Grylls on an expedition to the Irish Sea. The fun begins with a plunge from 11,000 feet.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
His return to the sci-genre with Disclosure Day (out this weekend) is getting great buzz, and living legend Steven Spielberg looks back at some of his earlier genre triumphs, co-hosting an evening of his classics, beginning with 1977’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind (8/7c), starring Richard Dreyfuss (from Spielberg’s breakthrough Jaws) as an everyman who encounters extraterrestrials. The lineup continues with 2001’s prescient A.I. Artificial Intelligence (10:30/9:30c) and 2002’s propulsive Tom Cruise thriller Minority Report (1:15 am/12:15c).
