Colton Underwood of The Bachelor is speaking out and saying that he isn’t 100% gay. Colton talked to Savannah Chrisley on her podcast Unlocked With Savannah ChrisleyDuring this podcast, they talked about a date they went on that obviously didn’t work out and a lot more.

Colton Underwood’s Story

Colton actually joined The Bachelor back in 2019 and tried to find love. The Bachelorette was the first reality show that he did. He thought that he could run from his sexuality. He admits that he told them that he would make a good show, not that he was there to find love.

In April of 2021, Colton Underwood came out as gay on Good Morning America. When fans found out that he would be on the show, there was a lot of speculation that this was the reason. Savannah even shared that when she went on her date with Colton in 2017 that she was sure he was gay.

Colton is now engaged to Jordan C Brown. These two revealed that they won’t be doing a televised wedding. These two started dating the summer after Colton came out, but he did date women before.

Colton Talks Not Being Totally Gay

While on Savannah’s podcast, Colton Underwood shared that he isn’t 100% gay. He wouldn’t put an exact percentage on how gay he is, though. Colton says that he felt like if he kept dating women the “straighter he would become.” He says that there was still an emotional connection with women when he dated them.

Savannah admitted that her gay best friend has slept with more women than men. Colton Underwood says he identifies as a gay man, but said “My number is not 100%.” Colton refused to put a number on it because he didn’t want that to become a headline. He isn’t saying he is bisexual, but Colton made it clear he has had feelings for women before. While on The Bachelor, he was known for being a virgin. He did give mixed answers about why he was a virgin, though. Sometimes he said it was that the right woman hadn’t come around yet, but he also used his faith as an excuse.
