If you’re a fan of the Waldrop family, you probably know that the kiddos have had many different injuries over the years, often due to sports. This weekend, fans learned of yet another incident.
As TV Shows Ace reported, Saylor ended up at the hospital once again. This time, he broke his nose after colliding with another player during basketball class. Courtney shared an update, revealing that they made an appointment to see an ENT on Monday. Now, on Tuesday, she’s back with more news and a prayer request.
Courtney Waldrop Asks For Prayers As Saylor’s Surgery Is Delayed
On Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, Courtney shared a new post, featuring a photo of Saylor at the hospital. She said, “Prayers for this sweet boy!!”
Then, she explained what is going on. She wrote, “Dr. said it was a really bad bone fracture and would need surgery this morning to repair it. Should be an easy surgery that wouldn’t take long since we were within the 7 days of him breaking it.”
The surgery was scheduled for Tuesday morning, but Saylor woke up with a fever and wasn’t feeling very well. As a precaution, Eric Waldrop tested his son for Covid because he needed to be put under anesthesia for his surgery. It turns out that he actually did have Covid, which meant they couldn’t go through with the surgery as planned.
Because of this, by the time Saylor recovers from Covid, he will be out of the seven-day period after breaking his nose. He can still have the surgery at that point, but it won’t be as simple of a fix. It’s possibly going to be a “more extensive surgery.”
Courtney Waldrop added, “So please pray that within the next 6 weeks his nose heals well on its on and does not leave him with breathing problems and maybe just maybe we can avoid a more in depth surgery and reconstructive surgery.”
