On Sweet Home Sextuplets, fans fell in love with Courtney’s parents, Gerry (Popsie) and Ramona. They weren’t on every episode, but they did appear here and there.
Unfortunately, Courtney doesn’t share too many updates about them on social media. But Popsie’s recent surgery was worth posting about. As we reported, Courtney’s dad had back surgery. From what she shared, it sounds like it went smoothly.
Now, it’s been a few months since fans last got an update on Courtney’s father. Naturally, everyone is wondering how the grandpa is doing.

Fortunately, this weekend, Courtney Waldrop returned to Instagram with a positive update. Popsie celebrated his birthday and she made sure to shower him with lots of love. On her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo one of the sextuplets had taken of their grandfather. He was all smiles as he posed for the snap. Courtney said it was the “perfect picture.”
Then, she shared a second slide that was more emotional. She wished Popsie’s twin brother in heaven a happy birthday too, revealing he had passed away 21 years ago. She said that she loves “sharing these pictures of him and his twin brother,” noting that they were “so very close.”
She added that there is “nothing sweeter than being a multiple.”
Courtney Waldrop also said her dad misses his twin brother every day.
