Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has been ordered by CPS to complete therapy and drug tests. This news comes just a day after it was revealed that her son, Jace, ran away again. So, what exact rules does Jenelle need to comply with? Read on for more details.
CPS Orders Jenelle Evans To Complete Therapy & Drug Tests
Jenelle Evans has been dealing with CPS for a few months now. It more or less really started when her son, Jace, 14, ran away from home for the third time in less than two months. When he did so, he alleged that his stepfather, David Eason, had assaulted him. There were even supposed marks on Jace’s neck and he said he would run away again if he was sent back. It was deemed best if he went back to live with his grandma, Barbara. An arrest warrant was soon out for David and he was also charged with child abuse.
Then it was revealed that Jace had gone missing for forty-eight hours over the weekend and was taken away from his grandma. It is unclear where he will end up going but CPS has been very involved. However, Jenelle has apparently made it quite difficult for them to get the answers that they need and want. Now, according to The Sun, she has some personal work to do on herself. Per an insider, after she lost custody of Jace this time around, Jenelle was supposed to attend intensive therapy for an extensive period of time.
“She’s being forced to do all this therapy. And this is not like the last time she had CPS investigating her home, this is bigger than that. She will be in therapy for months.”
Along with the therapy, Jenelle Evans will also have to submit to drug testing though it is unclear how often that will happen. Allegedly, Jace is in the care of a hospital since running away from Barbara’s. Jenelle has made it clear a plethora of times that he has mental health issues.
Will She Oblige?
Jenelle Evans has been in denial for most of this time that anything is her fault or even that her husband played a role. She claimed that the media made up the arrest warrant even though it came from the court clerk. Therefore, if she thinks nothing is wrong, she may not take any action. It also has been alleged that Jenelle’s other son, Kaiser was suspended while she was not sending Jace to school. Finally, there is also chatter she has taken Kaiser and her daughter, Ensley, completely out of school.
