TV Shows

Now that the Dancing With The Stars Season 31 cast list is out, fans are getting excited about the upcoming premiere. The show is moving to Disney+ this year, which is definitely a big shift. However, many viewers remain hopeful that there will be as much fun and excitement as there have been in recent years.

Like many years in the past, viewers can almost certainly expect themed nights. And it seems like singer Michael Buble is even getting his own night!

Dancing With The Stars Season 31 will keep up the themed-night tradition

In previous Dancing With The Stars seasons, themed nights like Disney Night and Halloween Night pulled in a lot of viewers. Season 30 even featured Britney Spears Night and Janet Jackson Night. And now, it seems like the DWTS exec team is trying to drum up excitement by hosting another night dedicated to one special singer.

DWTS insider Kristyn Burtt shared all the special details online with her followers.

“ICYMI: Oct. 24th is Michael Buble Week on #DWTS,” Burtt shared on her Twitter feed. “He will be performing and guest judging.”

Burtt went on to say she didn’t have much information on other themed nights that will appear this season. But without a doubt, Halloween and Disney Nights will be back. It just wouldn’t be DWTS without them.

Season 30 featured Grease Night where contestants paid homage to the classic film. What other fun themes would you like to see happen in Dancing With The Stars Season 31? Be sure to leave your thoughts and ideas in the comments.

The singer sustained injuries while performing with Derek Hough once

Pop singer Michael Buble is no stranger to the DWTS universe. Many contestants perform routines to his songs. And on top of that, he’s well-acquainted with judge Derek Hough. The two entertainers collaborated together on one of Derek Hough’s music videos, which actually resulted in a pretty serious injury for Michael Buble.

“They broke me. Hayley, his girlfriend, Hayley, who was my dance partner in the video,” the singer joked with ET. “Seven days of rehearsal, lifting her, and she’s a tiny thing, but lift her over and over again, and about two days in, I went like, ‘Oh, Derek, my neck is a little bit sore.’ And I could see he looked at me weird.”

He revealed that he actually had to seek MRIs for all the strenuous activity he did during the filming process. But the good news is that Michael Buble seems to be well enough now to visit the set of Dancing With The Stars Season 31 for his own special themed night.
