The pre-taped portion of America’s Got Talent Season 21 is coming to an end. The Judges’ Callback Round began on August 4 and will continue into the next episode, but after that, the Live Shows begin.
The Quarterfinals will start with 44 acts competing to move on in the competition. This is also when the show starts airing twice a week, as opposed to just on Tuesday nights. There’s certainly a lot to unpack, so we’re breaking it all down.
Below, we rounded up everything to know about the Season 21 finale, as well as the schedule leading up to the big week.
When is the AGT 2026 finale?
The two-part America’s Got Talent finale will be on Tuesday, September 22, and Wednesday, September 23. The finalists will all perform on the first night, while night two will be the results show, where host Terry Crews reveals the winner.
The finale results show will also consist of other performances and a look back at the season. Eliminations will be revealed throughout the night before the winner is named.
What time is the AGT 2026 finale?
Both nights of the America’s Got Talent finale will begin at 9/8c and run for two hours until 11/10c. This is a departure from the time the show normally airs at 8/7c.
The reason for the schedule change? The Voice Season 30 will be airing two additional, one-hour episodes during its premiere week on September 22 and September 23 in the 8/7c slot.
When do the AGT 2026 Live Shows begin?
The Live Shows/Quarterfinals begin on Tuesday, August 18. This will follow the second night of Judges’ Callbacks on August 11.
If the schedule follows Season 20, there will be four Quarterfinals episodes on August 18, August 25, September 1, and September 8, followed by the Semifinals on September 15, and then the finals on September 22.
The results show begins with the Quarterfinals, so beginning on Wednesday, August 19, there will be one-hour episodes on Wednesdays at 8/7c, as well.
