Teen Mom alum David Eason’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Maryssa is now being interrogated by CPS. This comes on the heels of her stepbrother, Jace, 14 running away from home. He then accused David of assaulting him. So, what exactly transpired? Read on for more details.

Once Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, ran away for the third time in under two months, things got very messy. He ended up going to live with his grandma, Barbara who raised him. More so, he said that he would run away again if he was sent home to Jenelle and David Eason. He had alleged that David assaulted him and there were apparently marks on his neck. After a court appearance, it was clear he was better off with Barbara. CPS has wanted to speak with Jenelle’s younger children, Kaiser and Ensley. Yet, she has apparently made it quite difficult.

David’s teenage daughter, Maryssa had been living with the couple for some time. She was even being homeschooled by Jenelle. Fans started to wonder where she was as he was charged with child abuse and a warrant was out for his arrest. Now it seems CPS has finally taken the time to sit down with her. According to The Sun, she has been talked to, per an insider.

“Maryssa has spoken to CPS by now, and it was supposed to be with Jenelle and David’s lawyer present. She was really burned by the 2019 CPS investigation, and remained in their home despite promises she wouldn’t have to go back there. So no one is expecting her to say much to CPS now.”

When referring to 2019, that was when David Eason shot and killed the family dog, Nugget. It looked like Jenelle was actually going to leave him but she did eventually return. A CPS investigation was done at the time for the welfare of the four children. It seems that, at the time of the shooting, Maryssa did have to testify in front of her dad and stepmother.

Denying It All

Jenelle Evans and David Eason have only disputed anything that has come out against them. After she lost custody of Jace, she made a video before an OnlyFans shoot for TikTok. She was smiling and claiming, via song, that everything was just fine. Plus, she shared a video of her family having a meal together but it looked disheveled and all over the place. As for the arrest warrant, Jenelle went on social media to claim that it was completely false. However, the news came from a court clerk.

Do you think that David and Jenelle’s lawyers should be present when CPS is talking to the kids? More so, do you think Maryssa feels safe enough to tell her truth? Let us know in the comments below.
