Wisteria Lane came back to life in a big way in Paris.

The first-ever Desperate Housewives convention, dubbed “The Desperate Con,” took place in Paris, France, on May 30 and 31, 2026, bringing together a large group of cast members from the beloved ABC dramedy for a weekend of reunions, fan events, and behind-the-scenes memories.

From original stars to actors who joined the series throughout its eight-season run, the event offered fans a rare opportunity to see some of their favorite residents of Wisteria Lane together again nearly 14 years after the show’s finale aired.

With the caption, “What are we doing this weekend?”, a video shared on Instagram featured several stars from the ABC hit, including Neal McDonough, James Denton, Doug Savant, Beau Mirchoff, Josh Henderson, Andrea Bowen, Charlie Carver, and Richard Burgi. Also in attendance were Brenda Strong, Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan, Andrea Bowen, Shawn Pyfrom, Mark Moses, Josh Henderson, Beau Mirchoff, Cody Kasch, and Tom Scavo.

The video then stated, “Making history as the world’s first-ever Desperate Housewives convention.”

Desperate Housewives aired on ABC from 2004 to 2012 and became one of the defining television hits of the 2000s. Set on the seemingly idyllic Wisteria Lane in the fictional town of Fairview, the series followed the dramatic, scandalous, and often deadly lives of several close friends, while being narrated by their deceased neighbor. Blending mystery, comedy, and romance with soap-opera twists, the show captivated audiences for over eight seasons.

The reunion was significant because it marked the first-ever official Desperate Housewives convention, bringing together a large number of cast members in one place nearly 14 years after the series ended.

For longtime fans, the event was a rare chance to see so many cast members together again. Nearly 14 years after the show ended, Desperate Housewives is still finding new audiences through streaming and reruns, making the convention a celebration of both the show’s legacy and its continued popularity.
